MRS. KARINA NAVARRETE, ASSISTANT TEACHER
Karina Navarrete is the talented chef at Brown's Early Learning School, where she combines her passion for healthy eating with her love of teaching. She especially enjoys using fresh vegetables from the school's garden to create nutritious meals. Karina loves introducing kids to the world of 'green foods' in fun and engaging ways, inspiring them to make healthy choices from an early age.
CHERYL BROWN, DIRECTOR
Cheryl Brown is the Director of Brown's Early Learning School. A Durham native, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from North Carolina Central University.
With more than 25 years of experience working with children from birth to age five, Ms. Brown is dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education and fostering a nurturing environment where young learners can thrive.
She is the proud mother of two sons, Kyle and Max, and the loving grandmother of her grandson, Kasey.
MRS. ROSY CASTRO, ASSISTANT TEACHER
Rosy Castro is our amazing assistant teacher at Brown's Early Learning School, where she’s been helping kids learn and grow since 2006. Originally from Honduras, Rosy has worked with children for over 22 years! She’s dedicated to teaching with patience, joy, and lots of love. Rosy loves seeing how kids grow and have fun every day at Brown's Early Learning School!
MS. Katerin Aleman, ASSISTANT TEACHER
Katherine Aleman, born in San Miguel, El Salvador, is an enthusiastic educator with a profound love for science and nature. She enjoys integrating natural elements into her classroom to enhance the learning experience. Katherine inspires her students to appreciate and explore the natural world around them.
